Current Investment Summary
Since inception, RS Research has secured over USD 20 million in disclosed backing from a diverse mix of investors and funding sources, including strategic pharmaceutical investors, venture capital and non-dilutive support. These financing milestones have supported RS Research’s progress from seed-stage platform development to the Phase 1 completion of RS-0139 and preparation for international clinical expansion. Its public investor base includes EIF-backed ACT Venture Partners, GEN İlaç, Eczacıbaşı Momentum and İstanbul Portföy, reflecting both financial and strategic support for the company’s Sagitta® platform, pipeline and clinical development execution.
RS Research announced a EUR 2 million seed investment from ACT Venture Partners in 2017, followed by a USD 12 million Series A round in 2021 led by GEN İlaç, with participation from Eczacıbaşı Momentum and İstanbul Portföy. In addition to these announced equity financings, RS Research has secured over USD 6 million in non-dilutive funding from public institutions and European research and innovation programmes, bringing the company’s disclosed backing to over USD 20 million since inception. İstanbul Portföy Yönetimi (One Life Ventures)
Founded in 2007, Istanbul Portföy Yönetimi Asset Management is Türkiye’s largest domestic and independent portfolio management company, managing assets totalling approximately 16.7 billion TL as of November 2021. in August 2021, the firm expanded its venture capital activities into the healthcare industry through the launch of One Life Ventures Venture Capital Investment Fund, adding it to its portfolio of 10 venture capital investment funds. One Life Ventures focuses on investments in innovative healthcare and life sciences companies with strong growth potential.
ACT Venture Partners
